      How to use this tool

      1. Choose one source image

        Select one still JPG, PNG or WebP image. Use a source with enough resolution for the largest icon you need.

      2. Set the square layout

        Choose Fit or center crop and a background. Check whether the image or lettering remains clear at small sizes.

      3. Save PNG icons

        Review the 48, 96, 180, 192 and 512px outputs, then save the files separately or download all five in a ZIP.

      This tool creates PNG images at multiple sizes. It does not generate an ICO file, Android adaptive-icon layers, platform configuration files or a complete app release package.

      Common questions

      Which sizes are generated?+

      It creates five square PNGs: 48, 96, 180, 192 and 512px per side. A small source image can look soft when enlarged.

      Are these files a complete app-store icon package?+

      No. Check the required dimensions, masks, transparency rules and configuration files for the app or website where you will use them.

      Can I create a transparent icon?+

      Choose a transparent background to use PNG transparency. Check separately whether your target platform accepts transparent icons.
